August 3: Basic Firefighter Orientation
August 5: New Firefighter Applications Due By 5:00pm.

The Central Mat-Su Fire Department will be hosting an orientation on becoming a paid, on-call Basic Firefighter Emergency Responder. The Borough’s on-call, or part-time positions, are very flexible and can work in addition to your regular full time employment. We have dedicated responders, from virtually all walks of life, who respond to emergencies throughout the Borough.

This meeting is open to the public. Anyone interested in becoming a firefighter and helping their community is encouraged to apply.

The orientation will discuss the requirements of the job and answer any questions that you may have. Job applications will be available at the orientation meeting, so please come prepared with your past job information (including dates of employment, contact phone numbers of current or previous managers), as well as three professional references with contact phone numbers.

Applications are due no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, August 5.
