Below is a list of Borough boards and commissions. Your time and experience would be a valuable asset to these boards. Please call the Borough Clerk's Office to find out which boards currently have vacancies if you are interested in serving on a board. You must be a Borough resident and registered voter to serve on any board or commission. Applicants are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Assembly.
To apply for service on a board, please submit an Application for Appointment to Boards, Commissions and Committees form with the Borough Clerk's Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or call 907-745-9683 to request an application be mailed to you.
Citizens making a difference
Boards and commissions are established by the Assembly and are a way for citizens to provide input on issues important to the community. Members of the public may apply for a position on a board with a vacancy by filling out an application form. Applicants must be Borough residents and registered voters. Board, commission, and committee members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Assembly.
