Responders Settle With Borough On Pers

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is settling out of court and paying nine emergency responders a total of $160,311 plus attorney fees in response to their claims of owed retirement benefits.

Landfill Closes Nov. 16 For Maintenance

In April, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Central Landfill replaced its 25-year-old residential scales. It is now time for required semi-annual maintenance, a process that will occur every six months.
