A. SANDRA KELLY Trustee of the Conrad Francis Necrason Declaration of Trust & Myrle C. Necrason (petitioner / owner): The request is to subdivide Parcel #1 of MSB Waiver Resolution #93-35-PWm, recorded as #93-137W, into 20 Lots and 5 Tracts to be known as ECHO LAKE WOODS. The Master Plan will include three phases. Tract A is being dedicated as a right-of-way. Petitioner has requested to vacate two easements, the first in Book 286 Page 4 and Book 325 Page 642, both being along Echo Lake Road, containing 147.5 acres +/-. Located within SW ¼ Sec 33, T17N, R03W, S.M., AK, Lying South of Echo Lake. Located in the Big Lake Community Council Area Assembly District 5: Cindy Bettine.
B. DANNY WALL (petitioner / owner): The request is to adjust the common lot line between Lot 16 and Lot 17, Block 9, Birch Harbor Estates Unit No. 3, to alleviate a lot line encroachment. The new lots will be known as LOTS 16A & 17A, BLOCK 9, BIRCH HARBOR ESTATES UNIT NO. 3, containing 1.91 acres +/-. Located within NE ¼ Sec 27, T17N, R02W, S.M., AK, Lying West of S. Vine Road & South of W. Hollywood Road. Located in the Knik-Fairview Community Council Area Assembly District 5: Cindy Bettine
C. MATANUSKA-SUSITNA BOROUGH by John Duffy (Manager): The request is to vacate the 100’Section Line Easements within Talkeetna Lakes Park along the section line common to Sec 5, T25N, R4W & Sec 32, T26N, R4W and the south half of the section line common to Sec 31 & 32, T26N, R4W, all located within Seward Meridian, Alaska. State of Alaska, Dept of Natural Resources granted preliminary approval. The Talkeetna Lakes Recreation Area Plan, adopted by the Assembly in 2004, recommends vacating these easements. The request is to protect designated park lands from right-of-way cut through. There is physical and legal access to lakes in the park. Lying South of & East of S. Comsat Road, & East of S. Talkeetna Spur. Located in the Talkeetna Community Council Area Assembly District 7: Vern Halter

THE PLATTING BOARD WILL CONVENE AT 8:30 a.m. July 15, 2010, in the Assembly Chambers of the Dorothy Swanda Jones Building, 350 E. Dahlia Avenue, Palmer, Alaska. Comments received by 3:00 PM one week prior to the meeting will be included in the Platting Board packet. Comments received up to 4:00 PM one day prior to the meeting will be given to the Platting Board in a “Hand Out” packet the day of the meeting.
In order to be eligible to file an appeal from a decision of the Platting Board, a person must be designated an interested party pursuant to MSB 15.39.010. The procedures governing appeals to the Board of Adjustment & Appeals are contained in MSB 15.39.010-250, which is available on the borough Internet home page located at (http://www.matsugov.us), or at various libraries within the borough. |
