Big Lake is located approximately 60 road miles or 15 minutes by plane north of Anchorage, Big Lake is far enough away from the Big City to offer the peace and quiet of country life, yet close enough to provide all the necessary and desired amenities and a great place to live.
Afternoon Storybreak ends on May 15 but we will continue morning story time until July 24.

Preschool Story Time is held every Wednesday at 11 am at the Library. Preschool Story Time includes songs, stories and crafts.
After School Story Break is held every Wednesday from 4 - 5 pm. This is for kids in grades K-2 and includes snacks, stories and crafts.
BLT's meet on Friday's from 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Fiber Arts Group
Our Fiber Arts group meets in the library's meeting room every Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm. This is an open group for all ages and levels of experience, and we are always happy to have new participants! If you enjoy crocheting, knitting, sewing, felting, spinning, or any other fiber art, this is the place for you! Everyone is welcome to drop by with whatever project they are working on.
