On March 2, residents in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough will be able to go to one place for permitting questions on wetlands, fish, driveways, and more. Among the agencies with staff attending are the U.S. Army Corps, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Alaska Dept. of Fish & Game, the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities and the Mat-Su Borough Permit Center.
Staff members will be available for discussion on March 2, from 2 pm to 7 pm in the Assembly Chambers at 350 E. Dahlia Ave., Palmer.
"If you are planning any type of project this summer this will be a great opportunity to get all your questions answered," said Michelle Olsen, Permit Technician with the Borough.
Information will be available for: the permit process for stream bank restoration, wetlands, lakes, floodplains, as well as development questions about driveways, rights-of-way, trails, conditional uses, and air quality.
