The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB), Land & Resource Management Division, has received a request for an easement across borough-owned land from the borough Capital Projects.   Capital Projects Right-of-Way is working with borough Operations and Maintenance to install a fish passage culvert under Caswell Lakes Road. The easement needed in conjunction with the project will encompass the north 32 feet of the designated public park lying adjacent to Caswell Lakes Road. As part of the project, utilities lying within the center of the road will be relocated to a permitted area along the road. Project construction is scheduled to run between July 1 and August 31, 2019. There is no developed access to the lake from within the park at this time; therefore, access to the park will be limited or closed to the public for safety purposes for the duration of the construction.
